We used to have meetings as harbour masters at each others ports, unofficial, just to see how things were going, about five or six of us. When this business was all over and it was their turn to come to me on one particular occasion we all had tea on the Compton Castle.
I was quite surprised it didn't go.

They must have spent a fortune on it.

I retired in 1986 and it was going downhill when I left.
